Bishop Link Howard

Interim Pastor

Bishop Link Howard was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He was ordained to the Christian ministry in 1985. In 1987 he accepted the call to pastor Faith Christian Community Church, where he faithfully served until his retirement from the pastorate in 2013.
In 2017, Bishop Howard began serving Restoration International Christian Church (formerly Whitestone Christian Center) on an interim basis. He later accepted the call to become pastor and led the congregation from June 2018 until October 2023. In January 2020, he was consecrated to the episcopal office of Bishop and now provides oversight for Restoration International Christian Churches in the United States, Ghana, and the United Kingdom.

Bishop Howard attended Northwood Institute and Anchor Bay Bible College. Before entering full-time ministry leadership, he served as a career civil servant until retiring in 1997. He has completed numerous additional courses and training programs over the years.
In the business arena, Bishop Howard is the Chairman and CEO of Powerlink Health Care Support Services, a company he founded in 2003.
Bishop Howard and his wife, Martha, have been married since 1972. Together they raised four children and are blessed with five grandchildren. They have actively served in ministry together since 1983 and have participated in missionary work in Guatemala, Jamaica, and Africa.

Bishop Howard has a deep passion for evangelism, teaching the Word of God, and organizational development. He is actively engaged in mentoring and developing ministers for service in the Kingdom of God.
In his personal time, Bishop Howard enjoys Jesus, Sister Howard, preaching, golf, fitness, travel, sports, music, and reading.

REVEREND KEN BURNS

ASSOCIATE MINISTER
Reverend Kenneth Burns was born and raised in Bogalusa, LA. and a graduate from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. He received a Bachelor ofScience Degree in Marketing in 1973. Master’s
Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova University and a Bachelor of Theology from Liberty University.
He joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in 1991 and was ordained to the Christian ministry in 1999. He was appointed as the Assistant to Pastor James A.Bing in 2012. Upon the retirement of Pastor Emeritus Bing, he was appointed Assistant/Interim Pastor, leading the church through the pandemic, developing a a
deeper faith in our Lord and Savior, until the hiring of a senior pastor.

REVEREND KENNETH GAVIN

ASSOCIATE MINISTER
Reverend Kenneth M. Gavin was born in Ft. Myers, Florida, on December 19, 1940. He spent his formative years on Sanibel Island, Florida and graduated from Dunbar High School in Fort Myers, Florida. Rev. Gavin achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1969 at Michigan State University. In May 1973, he earned his
Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Detroit, School of Law, and was admitted to the bar in December 1973. Reverend Gavin’s Christian faith began at the age of fourteen at the Church of God in   Ft. Myers, Florida. In 1980, he was ordained as a Deacon.  In 2000, Reverend Gavin accepted the pastoral appointment at Second Baptist Church, until his retirement on December 31, 2018. He holds the title of Pastor Emeritus of Second Baptist Church. Whenever visiting Florida, he attended Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, and after relocating to Florida, officially joined
FMBC on February 6, 2022.

Reverend Michael Foust

Associate Minister
Rev. Michael T Foust is a native son of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Rev Foust is a graduate of Alabama A&M University and has earned a Master of Divinity degree in Theological Studies and Expository Preaching from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Ordained by Pastor Emeritus James A. Bing in 2002.

Minister Willie Cutts

Associate Minister
Minister Willie J. Cutts was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is a proud United States Army veteran, having honorably served for over 22 years. Minister Cutts earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and his Master of Arts degree in Administration from Barry University.


Reverend Ken Myers Sr.

Associate Minister
Reverend Kenneth M. Myers Sr. is a Native Son of Friendship Baptist Church. Rev Myers is a 20-year retired Navy Veteran. Rev Myers earned bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and  currently pursuing a Master Degree of Divinity.

Dr. L. Christie Hunter

Associate Minister
Rev. Dr. Christi Hunter is a devoted servant of God, called to preach the Gospel in 1993 and licensed the same year.  She was later ordained in 2007. Rev. Dr. Hunter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spelman College, a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the College of New Rochelle, a Master of Divinity from New York Theological Seminary, and a Master of Education from The College of St. Rose. She has also pursued doctoral studies in Education (ABD) at Northcentral University.
