What an extraordinary Family & Friends Day! I want to thank the entire Friendship congregation for responding in such an overwhelming manner. You invited your families, brought your friends, welcomed our guests, and filled the house with love, joy, and worship.
A heartfelt thank you goes to every volunteer and ministry that worked so faithfully to make this occasion a tremendous success.
Whether you sang, played, cooked, greeted, directed, prayed, prepared, protected, invited someone, or worked quietly behind the scenes—what you did mattered.
Because of your faithfulness, seven people united with our church family, and six came forward for baptism. That is what this day was truly about: introducing people to Jesus Christ and welcoming them into His family.
You helped make Family & Friends Day one of Friendship’s best Sundays—and you demonstrated what is possible when the entire church works together.
