The Life You Cannot Control
Matthew 28:6

“He is not here…”
And with that,
everything changes.
Not just because He rose,

He cannot be contained.
The same Jesus they tried to control,
define, and manage,
is now beyond all of it.
Resurrection is not just victory.
It is disruption.
Because if He is truly risen,
then He is Lord.
Not advisor.
Not option.
Not addition to your life.
Lord.
And resurrection demands a response.
Not admiration.
Not applause.
Surrender.

Resurrection

Matthew 28:6 "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay."
The resurrection of Jesus is not just an event-it is the ultimate declaration that God keeps His word. When everything looked finished, sealed, and buried, God was still working.

The stone was not a barrier to Him, the grave was not a limitation, and death itself was not the end. What looked like defeat on Friday became victory on Sunday. And the same God who raised Jesus is still moving in places that look closed off in your life.

Here's the challenge: Stop calling it over when God has only paused the story. Too often we declare things dead, our hope, our vision, our strength, when God is preparing a resurrection. The empty tomb is proof that God specializes in turning endings into new beginnings. If He said it, He will bring it to pass. Your situation may look buried but buried does not mean finished, it means planted for something greater.

Action Step: Identify one area in your life that feels "over," and declare God's resurrection power over it today in prayer and faith.

Doing the right thing is not always easy, especially when it feels unnoticed. But faithfulness is never wasted.

God sees every act of kindness, integrity, and service.

when it is easy.

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you.”

You were never designed to carry every burden alone. Worry convinces you that everything depends on your control, but faith reminds you that God is strong enough to carry what overwhelms you.

 When God Rejects Your Version of Worship
 Matthew 21:13
The temple was full,
but God was not pleased.
Everything looked right.
Structure. Activity. Religion.
But heaven does not measure worship
by how it appears,
only by what it truly is.
So Jesus disrupts it.
Not gently.
Not symbolically.
He overturns it.
Because there are things
we have called “normal”
that God calls “unacceptable.”
And sometimes the most loving thing God can do
is tear down what we built
in His name.
It is possible to be busy in church
and still be far from God.
