Worship until the room gets smaller

Worship Until the Room Gets Smaller

Psalm 73:17
"Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I understood.

Sometimes problems look enormous because we've been staring at them too long. The psalmist struggled with what he saw around him until he entered God's presence. His circumstances did not immediately change, but his perspective did.

That's one of the gifts of worship. It puts everything back into proportion. God gets bigger in your awareness, and what overwhelmed you begins to lose its grip.

Bring the problem into worship today. Not so you can pretend it isn't real, but so you can remember it isn't God.

Here's the challenge: What problem has become larger in your thoughts than God's ability to handle it?

Action Step: During worship today, deliberately stop rehearsing the problem and spend that time concentrating on one attribute of God.

Have a perspective-shifting and Victorious Sunday
