Dont let convenience choose your convictions
Don't Let Convenience Choose Your Convictions
Daniel 3:18
"But if not, we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up."
Convictions are easy when they cost nothing. The real test comes when doing what is right becomes inconvenient, unpopular, or expensive.
The three Hebrew men did not know whether God would deliver them from the furnace. Their obedience was not dependent on the outcome. They had already decided who they belonged to.
If your convictions change every time pressure rises, they are preferences, not convictions.
Here's the challenge: What do you believe strongly enough to obey even when obedience costs you something?
Action Step: Identify one conviction you have been tempted to compromise and decide today what faithfulness will look like before the next test comes.
Have a convicted and Victorious Thursday
