Proverbs 19:2
"He sins who hastens with his feet."
Hurry has a price. When you rush, you miss details, overlook people, make assumptions, and sometimes create problems that patience would have prevented.
Not everything urgent is important. Not every opportunity requires an immediate yes. Wisdom knows how to slow down long enough to think, pray, and discern.
You are allowed to pause. You are allowed to say, "Let me think about it." A delayed wise decision is better than an immediate foolish one.
Here's the challenge: Where has hurry become your normal way of living?
