Learn to leave some things unfinished
Learn to Leave Some Things Unfinished
Mark 1:35–38
“Everyone is looking for You… But He said to them, ‘Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also.’”
Everybody wanted something from Jesus, yet Jesus did not allow every demand to determine His direction. There were still people wanting His attention when He moved to the next assignment.
That is a difficult lesson for responsible people. You will never finish everything. Every email will not be answered today. Every problem will not be solved. Every person will not be satisfied.
Purpose requires priorities. Sometimes faithfulness means leaving something undone so you can remain obedient to what matters most.
Here’s the challenge: Are you trying to satisfy everybody at the expense of the assignment God actually gave you?
Action Step: Choose one nonessential task you can postpone or decline today so you can protect your highest priority.
Have a prioritized and Victorious Thursday
