Bring God More Than Your Routine
Malachi 1:8
“And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, is it not evil?”
God’s people were still bringing sacrifices, but they were giving Him what cost them little. Worship had become routine without reverence.
It is possible to give God leftovers. Leftover time. Leftover attention. Leftover energy. We give everything else our best and then offer God whatever remains.
God is not asking you to earn His love through performance. He already loves you. But love should produce honor. When you understand who He is, worship becomes more than fitting God into your schedule.
Here’s the challenge: Has God been receiving your best or merely what remains after everything else gets your attention?
Action Step: Give God the first intentional portion of your day today instead of whatever time happens to be left.
