Stay Humble When You Succeed
Deuteronomy 8:17,18
"Then you say in your heart, 'My power and the might of my hand have gained me this wealth.' And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth."
Success has a way of testing our character just as much as hardship does. It's easy to begin depending on our abilities while forgetting the God who gave them to us.
Every gift, every opportunity, every accomplishment, and every blessing has its source in Him.
Humility doesn't minimize what God has done through you, it recognizes Who made it possible.
The higher God lifts you, the more intentional you must be about staying close to Him.
Here's the challenge: Have you been taking credit for what God has made possible?
Action Step: Thank God specifically for the abilities and opportunities He has entrusted to you.
