When Obedience Hurts
Luke 22:42

“Not My will…”
We quote it easily.
Jesus lived it fully.
This is not poetic surrender.
This is costly obedience.
Sweat like blood.
A soul under pressure.
A will wrestling with what it knows must be done.
There is a version of faith
that celebrates blessings,
but avoids sacrifice.
Jesus shows another way.
Obedience is not proven
when it is easy.
It is revealed
when it costs you something you wanted to keep.
